We have some news for members of the Pearson International Schools Community: our blog is moving to a new home here at blog.pearsoninternationalschools.com on Thursday 30 April 2020.

Our blog is moving to a new home

Our Pearson for International Schools blog is moving to its new home here as we are launching a brand new website on Thursday 30 April. This means you’ll be able to access all of our great blog content and browse our integrated qualifications and resources – all in one place!

Because of this change, we want to let you know that the Pearson International Schools Community will close on 30 April and all of our existing blog posts will redirect to our new home. As valued members of our community, we hope you will continue to be a member by subscribing to our weekly blog digest email in which we will share round-ups of the latest posts, competitions and more.

What this means for you

What about my connections?

We know many of you have built up networks via our Community, so to avoid losing those links to other members, do make sure you message your connections in the Community directly via the My Connections tab when you are logged in, to share email addresses. Unfortunately, we can’t share members’ email addresses directly with you.

What about my data?

The third party platform on which the Community was hosted will still be in operation after our departure but all of the data held on that platform that is associated with Pearson and you, our members, will be deleted in accordance with Data Protection law.

What about the Community groups?

We will be creating new special interest groups on our Pearson for International Schools Facebook page. Diverting our focus towards supporting schools with the COVID-19 crisis got us a little sidetracked in this work, but look out for them in the coming months.

What about the ‘community’ aspect?

Moving to our new blog and website does mean we lose our ‘community’ aspect, but we hope you will stay in touch by subscribing to our weekly blog digest email and join us over on Facebook where we post regularly and enjoy interacting with many international schools.

What about events and webinars?

These will be much easier to find and register for on our new website. You’ll be able to sign up to upcoming events and also watch past webinars on demand. We’ll be adding new webinars regularly throughout 2020!

How do I find your new website?

It launches on 30 April so it’s not live yet. You can access our new blog now because we want to give you the first look before it goes live to the rest of the world next week! When the new website launches, you will be able to move seamlessly between the two as the blog will sit as a tab within the website menu structure.

Need more help?

If you have any other questions about our move that are not covered here, email us at internationalschools@pearson.com

We hope you enjoy our new blog

It just remains to say thank you for being a part of the Pearson International Schools Community and we look forward to welcoming you to our new blog where we will continue to support you with the stories and content that matter most to you!

Best wishes,

The Pearson International Schools Team
